A student needs to have passed their class 12th with sixty percent average in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics; even any student appearing in their class 12th can also apply for the IIT-JEE exam. The student should be of 24 years or below when submitting the application. If the candidate is from GE, OBC and DS category then need to secure sixty percent and if the applicant is from the SC, ST and PD category then they need a fifty percent in the class 12th. The candidates are also allowed to appear twice and that to in two consecutive years.

  1. Student should have appeared in 10 + 2 system, which is conducted by any recognized state board/central like the CBSE, New Delhi or ISCE, New Delhi
  2. Student who have appeared in 2 year pre university exam by a renowned university or board.
  3. Student appearing for Cambridge university high school certificate exam.
  4. Student in India appearing through Any University/Board or Public school or in any foreign country attending institute recognized by the Association of Indian Universities are eligible.
  5. Students appearing in SSSE with five mandatory subjects through National Open School.
  6. Student who have appeared or have a three or a four year Diploma that is acknowledged by either AICTE or the State Board of Technical Education.
